Hearts On Fire is a youth evangelism conference that began in 1986. The desire of Hearts On Fire is to see middle and high school students find an intimate and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We passionately reach out to believers by encouraging them in their walk with the Lord while also challenging them to walk in the truth and integrity of Christ.

Over the past 32 years Hearts On Fire has grown from 150 to over 12,000 attendees. We have seen literally thousands of teenagers come to faith in Christ and countless lives changed. Many young men and women have made decisions to surrender to full time ministry while attending the conference.

Hearts On Fire has welcomed the likes of such speakers as Will Graham, Kirk Cameron, Tim Tebow, Tony Nolan, David Nasser, Dave Edwards, Greg Stier, Ken Freeman, Darren Whitehead, Sean McDowell, Clayton King, Derwin Gray, Wade Morris, Ed Newton, Inky Johnson and the Skit Guys.  Hearts On Fire has had concerts provided by the phenomenal music of Third Day, Casting Crowns, Kristian Stanfill, Passion Music, Zach Williams, David Crowder, Big Daddy Weave, for KING&COUNTRY, Tenth Avenue North, 7th Time Down, Newsboys, MercyMe, Lauren Daigle and TobyMac just to name a few.

The main conference is held at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, TN annually on the weekend before Thanksgiving.  In 2011 & 2012 Hearts on Fire held a conference in Branson, Missouri and from 2013 - 2106  a conference was held on the campus of Charleston Southern University in Charleston, South Carolina.  A conference was held in Charleston, WV on August 18 & 19, 2017 and will return this year on August 10 & 11, 2018.

The Hearts On Fire conference is led by its founder, Scott Carter.  Scott has been in youth ministry for over 34 years. He is the youth pastor at First Baptist Church, Sevierville, Tennessee where he pours his life into students daily. His life's goal is to point young people toward the Father and for their hearts to burn with a commitment to Christ!  Scott has two adopted sons, Chris and Esteban as well as a grandson, Miles and granddaughter, Lilyauna.  Scott has dedicated his life ministering to youth and helping them in their spiritual growth.

We believe that the Bible is God’s Holy and inerrant Word. It is God’s way of being a "lamp to our feet and a light to our path," (Psalm 119:105).

We believe in the Trinity...the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. All distinct, yet three in one.

We believe that there is only one way to Heaven and that is through Jesus Christ the perfect Lamb of God.

We believe that anyone who asks the Father for forgiveness of their sins, with a repentant and surrendered heart, becomes a child of God.

Hearts On Fire is open to all denominations. We do however, affirm and identify with the Baptist faith and message.

Our mission is to evangelize those who are without Christ.  We want every believer who attends the conference to leave with the gift of God ablaze in their hearts.  “This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you…” (II Timothy 1:6).
